For the new S23 device launch, we had been tasked to create an exciting, engaging and eye catching experience for consumers. Samsung has been successfully launching retail stores all across the nation, but we wanted to push the boundaries and create a bit of buzz and excitement that coincided with the new devices. Our task was to create a pop-up store along with other experiences that persuaded people to engage and eventually buy from the store.

The new S23 devices had a really interesting theme that linked back to nature and low-light visuals. The Key visuals featured flowers and leaves that were shot in the dark. Nightopgraphy (low-light photography), sustainability, durability and multi-tasking were some of the features that we wanted to highlight in the experience. We launched a pop-up store that was set up to look like an underground tech cave. There were various stations that were highlighted with neon lighting across the store that users could explore.

There were also other elements that allowed consumers to engage and win prizes outside the store such as a skill-tester. My role in this project was to bring to life the artwork of the Skill-tester and the store hoardings around the city. I was tasked with using the low-light and neon lighting theme to create an eye-catching visual that directed users to the experience/store.

I created print-ready art-work that sat across the old Samsung store windows informing people of the renovation. I was also responsible for designing and art-directing art-work for the Skill-tester that sat outside the pop-up store.
